FAQ- shipping
Canadian shipping: Canada Post workers went on strike as of 26 Sept. and are currently doing rotating strikes; they are still delivering, but please be aware that this may slow delivery of packages.
US shipping: Unfortunately, I am unable to ship to the US at this time. As of 29 August, Trump removed the de minimus exemption that previously allowed packages under $800 to enter the US tariff-free. This is greatly complicating shipping for Canada Post and other carriers, as the Trump administration is requiring that all tariffs be collected and remitted to US Customs before the package enters the US. Canada Post and other carriers have scrambled to put procedures in place to do that, but it will be a while before I'm able to sort out how the process will work, what paperwork is needed, and what the additional cost will be for my customers. I'm hoping that I will be able to resume US shipping in the future; if so, I'll announce it through my email newsletter, here on my website, and on Instagram.
(PS: Similar issues with tariffs and processing fees meant that many UK indie dyers went out of business in the aftermath of Brexit. If possible, I encourage you to support indie dyers and sheep farmers in Canada, or whatever country you live in; support for local producers is the only way that we'll collectively get through this mess.)
