Mend in Public for Saturday Crafternoon, 2-4 pm.  It's Local Yarn Store (LYS) Day!  And Mend in Public Day!  Bring your mending or fibre crafting and connect with others who love to mend! All ages & skill levels welcome. Free; no registration needed.

30 Apr. (Weds.)
Intro to Yarn Dyeing class, 1-3 pm.  No experience necessary. Registration here. $55 includes instruction & materials.

 

3 May (Sat.)
Learn To Spin: Drop Spindle
, 12-4 pm.  Join Lorna Ash of Shades of Ewe for beginning spinning class-- no experience necessary. Registration here. $95 includes instruction, materials, and use of a spindle during class. Partial scholarships available.

Shades of Ewe Pop-Up Shop, 4-6 pm Sat. 3 May.  Stop by during special extended hours to browse Lorna's amazing spinning fibre.  She'll have an array of different bases and colours to tempt you-- and I'll have some on the wheel and the spindle for you to try!

Learn To Spin: Spinning Wheel
, 12-4 pm.  Join Lorna Ash of Shades of Ewe to learn spinning on a wheel.  The Drop Spindle class or other previous experience recommended but not absolutely necessary. Registration here. $115 includes instruction, materials, and use of a wheel during class. Partial scholarships available.

Stitch Night, 6-8 pm. Drop in gathering for all fibre crafts. Everyone welcome.  Free; no registration needed. MASKS ARE REQUIRED for Stitch Night.

14 May (Tues.)
Dyeing to Spin, 6-8 pm.  Learn to dye your own spinning fibre, using a combination of steaming and low-water immersion.  No previous experience necessary. Registration here.

17 May (Sat.)
