Manitoulin Island 100g gradient: Vintage Towel

A fairly subtle gradient, despite the fact that the colours are really strong: bright red to carnation pink dappled with magenta pink to bright magenta purple. This one's named after a rather shocking 1970s bath towel of pink roses on a red background, which my parents bought new; it's still going strong!

Manitoulin Island is an untreated, sheepy 100% Ontario wool (Suffolk/ Rideau Arcott) with 2 plies; 100g skeins have 366 m (400 yds).
