Polkadrop Cowl kit: Lava Heart & Red Hots

This kit is specially designed for knitting the Polkadrop Cowl, which pairs a beautifully dappled mohair/ silk laceweight gradient with a rich tonal fingering weight skein. 

The Fuzz in this kit is a gradient from blaze orange dappled with scarlet and bright yellow to soft tomato soup red to scarlet; the gradient is subtle in the cake but will show nicely when it is worked up.  It is paired with a skein of Four Quarter in deep red with hints of scarlet and burnt orange (100g of 100% superwash merino, 400 m/ 437 yds).

Note: The delightful mohair halo of the Fuzz often makes these gradients appear to have very smooth colour transitions, but most of the Fuzz gradients are in fact softly dappled.
