Sock yarn: Undercover Orchid

A curious warm brown that contains a varied mix of soft magenta purple, warm golden bronze, purpled rusty orange, and a hint of murky green.  The colours vary considerably from skein to skein, with different amounts of magenta purple and murk.  This colour was created specifically for Nancy Wheeler's sock pattern Incognito.

A super-soft squishy yarn, on the heavier side of sock yarn.  This base consists of 80% eco-processed merino wool and 20% recycled nylon.  Each 100g skein offers 338 m (370 yds).

This yarn is hand-dyed in small batches involving a rather daring overdye technique; as a result, the colour varies from batch to batch.  Please ensure that you buy enough for your project!
