Sock yarn: Wine-Dark Sea

Variegated red wine, plum, and muted bittersweet orange, all washed with a kind of greyed haze; this is quite muted overall, but the underlying colours keep it lively.

A super-soft squishy yarn, on the heavier side of sock yarn.  This base consists of 80% eco-processed merino wool and 20% recycled nylon.  Each 100g skein offers 338 m (370 yds).
